A Hardcore Trekking at Banahaw Forests
The picture was taken by a year 10 Marist Student; September 21, 2012; A way up to Mt. Banahaw’s pilgrimage.
The out bound trip of the Maristas, specifically section Year 10 SMC had taken place at Mt. Banahaw on September 21, 2012. Everybody went caving inside a narrow cave that they called Husgado, went trekking up to the top of the Holy Mountain while raining and took a bath at a very cold spring. They had their first challenge which is the crawling inside the Husgado cave. Many of the thin students commented that it was a piece of cake while the others said that they had a hard time inside. The second challenge was the trekking up to the top of the mountain that took them approximately thirty to forty minutes. After all the activities and happenings, they took a bath in a very cold spring that gave them chills.

On The Way to Ciudad Mistica

Lakbay Kalikasan member, Kuya Robi had explained the history of each places at Ciudad Mistica; September 21, 2012; starting of the year 10 Marist Students' outbound trip

Kuya Robi said that each places at Ciudad Mistica has a history. He stated that the Rizalists believe that dr. Jose Rizal is a prophet. They also believe that Ciudad Mistica is the Jerusalem of the Philippines. He also said that one of the mountains at Mt. Banahaw which is Kalbaryo is believed to be calvary of Christ. They believe that dr. Jose Rizal has 12 apostles which are the other Filipino heroes. With all of their beliefs, I realized that they truly respect, honor and praise dr. Jose Rizal.
